How We Can Support You

If you’re navigating the SEND system and feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or stuck, you’re not alone. Many parents contact us when the process feels confusing, emotionally draining, or difficult to manage alongside everyday life.

You don’t need to understand how everything works before asking for help. You don’t need to know which service you need. We will work with you to understand your situation and decide what support may be helpful.

A first conversation

We listen to what has been happening, ask questions to understand your situation, and explain processes in clear, plain language. We help you understand what options may be available and what your next steps could be. There is no pressure to make decisions or continue beyond this conversation.

Looking through paperwork with you

If you’re facing lots of reports, emails, plans and paperwork, we can review it with you and help you make sense of what matters. We support you to understand what the documents are saying, identify missing information, and highlight what is most relevant.

Applying for an EHCP

If you are considering requesting an assessment, we can guide you through the process. We support you to understand how the statutory process works, organize reports, identify relevant needs, and draft written submissions.

Checking a draft EHCP

If you have received a draft EHCP, we help you understand each section, identify vague wording, check if provision is specific and measurable, and prepare suggested amendments to raise with the Local Authority.

Preparing for an annual review

Support before, during and after the meeting. We help clarify priorities, prepare written input, review paperwork in advance, and support you to understand what should happen after the review.

When a request has been refused

We support you to understand and respond to refusal letters or decisions, helping you understand the reasons given and talking through possible next steps. We support you to prepare a clear and calm response.

Getting ready for tribunal (guidance only)

We provide procedural guidance, explaining how the process works and helping you organize paperwork and evidence. We do not provide legal advice or act as legal representatives.

Support with meetings

Preparation and reflection. We help you prepare key points in advance, can attend online meetings with you in a supportive capacity, and help you reflect afterwards on what was discussed.

If you’re still not sure

That’s completely okay. Many parents begin with a conversation and work things out from there. Support can be focused on one issue or spread over time, depending on what feels right for you.
